QUOTE (Mike Hawkes) Has anyone seen Derren Brown's latest TV series on Channel 4? What do you think?
I had someone saying they had seen him live on stage the other night, they were full of praise, saying he was the best thing they had ever been to see, I quote " absolutely amazing, I want to see him again tonight too"
mores the pity, I didnt know he was touring

Unfortunately, you've missed him. More information about Derren is available from his website which is: http://www.derrenbrown.co.uk
He also has a new book coming soon, I believe.

I saw Derren on his tour last year at the Parr Hall in Warrington and he was fantastic. I didn't get to go on stage but since DB's preference is for tall women with ample chest I wasn't in with much of a chance
Talking to a few of my friends about Trick of the Mind I think we all came to the same conclusion that we preferred Mind Control(MC). MC seemed to be more pacey somehow and there was more to entertain you, if one piece did not amaze you there was something else quickly following. I'm thinking of the Tube stuff, for instance, where there were lots of different people involved etc.
Having said that I love the telephone box stunt and the taxi driver trying to find the Millenium wheel.
My two pennies worth
