Has anyone else noticed that when your mention your interest in hynpnosis that you tend to get one of three responses.
1. I don't beleive in hypnotism
2. I'm going now
3. Your not going to turn me into a chicken are you?
It's the third repsonse I am really interested in. Why do people think hypnotist turn people into chickens? I can't think of anything I have seen where people have been hypnotised into being chickens but if you know different please let me know!
As an aside I find the best answer to 3 above is to ask what would that sound like and when they make the chicken noise say "that's right".

Hmm - there's always the reverse method. Start off by moving your arms and making a chicken sound while looking at someone. Invariably, I get a stern "DON'T START ALL THAT MIND CONTROL STUFF!" or similar response.
