I was shocked to here the following as a Driver Tiredness awarenss campaigh advert ont he radio the other night.

http://www.thinkroadsafety.gov.uk/campaigns/drivertiredness/download/AMVRDT30026-SleepTired.mp3

If you are driving your car and this comes on the radio then the affects are too terrible to contemplate.

I have written to the Department of Transport to suggest that they stop using this immeadiately.

Am I being over sensitive here, have a listen and let me know what you think?

Thanks

Andy

Your right, over sensative you are not. That is terrible, You were right to complain and i think that others should do the same.
I'm stunned that this could be allowed to be aired.

I sit on the Advertising Standards Authority Committee for Advertising Practice and have raised this as a formal complaint through the authority. This advert is downright dangerous: I have also advised the NCH to bring pressure from the professional hypnotherapy bodies. Stupid advert!
